Itinerary

Begin your journey from Nairobi as you head toward Mt. Longonot National Park. The route takes you through the scenic Kikuyu highlands before descending the eastern escarpment of the Great Rift Valley.

Pause at a panoramic lookout for sweeping views over the Rift Valley floor. This ancient geological formation stretches from the Red Sea through East Africa and features volcanic mountains, hot springs, geysers, and lakes. From this vantage point, you’ll see Mount Suswa and Mount Longonot rising from the valley floor — perfect for some unforgettable photo opportunities.

Reach the park and begin your ascent. The climb, suitable for those with moderate fitness, takes you up through rugged trails and scenic gulleys. Rest stops are available along the route. At the top, enjoy the dramatic views into the crater. If you're up for the challenge, you can trek around the rim for a full circuit.

After your descent, take a short drive to Lake Naivasha, known for its tranquil waters and birdlife

Enjoy a relaxing lunch by the lakeside at Marina Camp. The peaceful atmosphere and lakeside views offer a great setting to unwind.

Take an hour-long boat ride to explore the lake’s vibrant ecosystem. Watch African fish eagles dive for prey and observe hippos wallowing in the shallows — a truly immersive experience in nature. (Boat ride available at an extra cost of USD 25 per person)

Depart Naivasha and make your way back to the city. Expected arrival time in Nairobi is around 5:30 PM, with drop-off at your hotel.
